Global erfolgreich durch professionelle Dienstleistungsarbeit.

Global success through professional service work

A growing number of companies are competing at a global level. A growing number of people are employed in the global, modern service sector. This brings with it entirely new challenges – for both the companies and the people. The ability to operate within global supply chains is decisive to their success.

GlobePro: learning from success for the new phase of globalization

The GlobePro project examines business models which have already achieved global success. Its objective is to develop widely applicable strategies for successful internationalization.

GlobePro tests training concepts for the next phase of globalization. It builds upon the results of the project Export IT, the focus of which was to determine the factors behind the successful internationalization and exportability of IT services.

The project combines research and best-practice: companies, institutes for vocational training, business associations, employers' associations, trade unions and experts work on the project under the lead management of the Institut für Sozialwissenschaftliche Forschung e.V. (ISF München - Institute for Social Science Research). The research project is supported by the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF - Federal Ministry of Education and Research).
